WHAT IS LIVE LIFE ON PURPOSE?
“Live Life on Purpose”. It can mean different things to each person but to us it meant starting every day with a dance party and laughing so hard you cry at least once a week. It means getting out of your comfort zone, feeling the fear but doing it anyways.
“You are one idea, one risk, one decision away from a totally different life. Of course, it’ll probably be the toughest decision you ever make, the scariest risk you ever take. But if your dream doesn’t scare you, it’s too small.” - Mark Batterson, Chase the Lion
I’m here because my life was changed by one person that saw life differently. Britt wasn’t afraid of being different and showing joy in each and every single day. My life is now devoted to showing that joy can be found in the most unlikely of places. If that joy can change even a single persons outlook and make then get out of their comfort zone then it is all worth it.
How will you live your life on purpose?
Our Stories
Brittany
A blonde spark plug that could ride a dirt bike better than the boys or take home first place in her dance contests. Whatever she did, she thrived. Britt didn’t do things to be in the spotlight, she was way too shy for that, but she rather saw opportunities to show God that she is going to take every moment seriously and go in 100%.

Britt was a talented writer. Beauty flowed out of her words with such little effort that I struggle to put anything together that will do her story justice. She had a phrase that pushed her forward, “Live Life on Purpose”. It can mean different things to each person but to her it meant starting every day with a dance party and laughing so hard she cried at least once a week. It means getting out of your comfort zone, feeling the fear but doing it anyways. She also wanted everyone she came into contact with to know that it doesn’t matter if your glass is half full or half empty. The important point is that it’s refillable, so fill that glass up and get to livin!

Our Story
As told by Brittany:
The really adorable part? It started in 2nd grade. I put 💕 around his yearbook pic + he had a crush on me bc I ran faster than all the boys. (Except him, duh. 😉) But we never dated growing up! We both went off to college...on opposite sides of TX. That’s when God thought it would be a good time. We were almost seniors & hadn’t spoken in YEARSSS. Outta nowhere I get a Facebook message from THE Rees Crosby, but didn’t think much of it. We chatted for a sec until he gave me his number & told me to text him. I didn’t text him for 3 days. 🤣 #oops When I finally did, we’ve literally talked EVERY DAY since then. We realized we were both going to be home for Christmas & he asked me on a date. We went out to eat & walked through the Marble Fall’s Trail of Lights. 2nd date? I asked him to go to a friend’s wedding with me on NYE. 🤣 #aggressive but when ya know YA KNOW. 🤷🏼♀️ We got lost. Pulled over & sobriety tested. Passed. Made it to my parent’s house just before the ball was dropping...&& we both immediately realized our first kiss was going to be in front of my parents & their friends. Fast forward through a long distance relationship with as many visits as we could...&& we returned to our 1st date spot to celebrate 1 year! As my eyes came into focus after spinning under the lights I thought, “OH CRAP I JUST SPUN INTO SOMEONE’S ENGAGEMENT & I’M RUINING IT.” 😳 I quickly realized it was Rees. Told him to shut up as I pushed him, then of course said yes. Turns out EVERYONE besides my mom & I knew. ☺️ ...she’s an awful secret keeper. #nopokerface His Mimi had a huge hand in this. We both loved her SO much. She wanted to make sure Rees was going to marry me so she helped him get the ring. He practiced proposing to her, spinning her in her wheelchair & getting her feisty critiques. 💕 Thank you, Mimi, our guardian angel. 7 months later we tied the knot! & here we are, 6+ years in.. More in love than ever.
In sickness & in health. 💕

Growing up in Texas, I have always enjoyed the long weekend trip with the family and enjoying a quick vacation. Whether that was to the beach or into the mountains I thought that was what traveling looked like. It wasn’t until I married a beautiful blonde with an adventurous soul that I started to look at the world differently.

Britt and I made plans, created a lot of big dreams, scary dreams that are very unorthodox to our society. We had everything that we were supposed to have in your mid 20’s. Great jobs, a big beautiful house, and plans of starting a family but it all felt empty to us. We wanted to travel full time and see as much of this beautiful world as we could so we sold it all and bought an RV. Then we wanted something even more extreme and sold the RV to get a Van. When you know what you want you will go to extreme lengths to make it happen.

Now I keep Britt’s and my dream alive with Avril LaVan, traveling the country to see new cities, National Parks, family & friends.
